Welcome to the First Congregational Church of Kenosha's website.  Founded in 1838, our congregation has served this community continuously for over 163 years.  Congregational churches have their roots in the pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower and settled in Plymouth, MA to escape religious persecution in England.  Our church is based on the New Testament pattern of church-life that they established.  We are a fellowship of believers who chose to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.  Each member is free to walk out their life for Christ in obedience to the Word of God as they understand it.  We are an independent church, affiliated with the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.  Decisions are made by congregational vote which is held quarterly.  Membership is open to those who confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and who feel called of God to join our fellowship.  We commit ourselves to fellowship as we walk out our salvation.

Our traditional service is held at 9:15am while our contemporary service is held at 11:30am. There are many exciting activities going on within these walls- both in our hearts and lives. Please, come on in and experience God's love for all of us. Your life only begins the moment you meet Jesus.
