Membership Outreach Board

 
Consists of nine members.

Meets the First Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

The duties of this Board are:

1) Keep a register of members.

2) Annually examine and select local, national and international mission projects and authorize the Administration Board to expend Mission monies.

3) Recruit and empower membership teams to focus on inviting the unchurched and unreached, involve visitors and guests to become a part of the life of the Church. Design and /or approve print, radio, TV, web, etc., advertisements to invite outsiders to worship with us.

4) Obtain greeters.

5) Obtain Fellowship Hour sponsors.

6) Obtain ushers.

7) Obtain a Church Historian.

8) Deliver fresh flowers from Sunday morning services to sick or shut in members.

9) Schedule visitation with the sick and shut in members by Pastor or lay members.

10) Approve all social functions in the Church.

11) Build, update and maintain the Church web site.

12) Prepare and supply literature for new or potential members.

13) Prepare and coordinate the New Member Gift Bags.
