Spiritual Nurture Board

 
This Board consists of nine members.

They meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

The duties of this team are:

1) Be spiritual lay leaders of the Church. Equip and empower members to do the work of evangelism, disciple making and mission.

2) Advise, counsel and assist the Pastor and members in the spiritual activities of the Church.

3) Appoint a member to service on the Trust Fund Board.

4) Oversee religious education in the church for all ages.

5) Propose to the Administration Board a candidate for Youth Director, when necessary.

6) Liaison between Boy Scott Troop and Spiritual Nurture Board.

7) Oversee musical programming of the Church and to foster interest and participation in this program.

8) Recommend to the Administration Board a candidate for a Choir Director and Organist, when necessary.

9) Provide for, prepare and service the Lord's Supper.

10) Meet with new member candidates.

11) Assist the Minister(s) with baptisms and with the acceptance of new members.

12) Accompany Minister(s), at their discretion, when they conduct Communion at nursing homes/shut ins.

13) Make sure the pulpit is filled each Sunday by minister, guest minister, lay preacher or special service.

14) Keeper of the Flower Calendar. Decorate Lord's Table.
